It’s with deep regret COBA announces the untimely passing of Retired Correction Officer Stephen Brown. Retired Correction Officer Brown was appointed to the Sheriff's Department on March 27,1984 and retired on December 27, 2006, after 22 years of service. Stephen was assigned to the Fire Safety Unit as well as the office of EEOC until he retired. Stephen Brown was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and was living with his wife in Wake Forest North Carolina. We ask you to please keep Retired Officer Brown's family and friends in your thoughts and prayers.

Retired Correction Officer Stephen Brown will be reposing at Bright Funeral Home Inc. on Friday May 31, 2024 from 11am-12pm at 405 South Main Street Wake Forest North Carolina 27587. Funeral Service will follow immediately after viewing with Private Cremation.
