Dear COBA Members,
COBA would like to thank the NC Correction Officer’s Charitable Foundation for recently hosting two events for ACTIVE COBA members. Both these events were funded by outside donations and at NO COST to the Union or COBA Members.
On December 7th the Charitable Foundation sponsored through a raffle, 10 ACTIVE COBA members and their 23 children for the 5th annual SHOP with a COP Event.
Each Member’s child received a free $100 shopping spree for themselves and then went on a $50 shopping spree for children currently admitted at NYU Langone Hospital.
On December 15th the Charitable Foundation sponsored a children’s Holiday Party for all ACTIVE COBA Members. With over 150 attendees, this was by far the most attended children’s party to date.
