Update: Direct Deposit Change Applies Only to Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union

June 29, 2020

Further information has been made available directing that this change only applies to those members whose Direct Deposit is with the Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union. The accounting issues that created the change are those of NCFCU and not Nassau County Payroll.

The information below has been provided by the Comptrollers Office.

Direct deposits with the Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union will not be shown in the employees account until the actual pay check date. This means for full time Nassau employees, direct deposit will be reflected on Thursday of the pay week.

Until now, NCFCU members have seen their deductions deposited on Tuesday and the direct deposits on Wednesday.

In addition, and again according to the Credit Union, deposits will be completed by 9:00 AM the latest. If an employee checks their account at 7:00 AM on pay day they still may not see the funds in their account. They should check after 9:00 AM.

We apologize for any inconvenience our prior email by have caused. Again this change in direct deposit only applies to Nassau Financial Federal Credit Union not other banking institutions.
