RETRO PAYMENT UPDATE

COBA would like to inform all members and retirees that after many long months, we are pleased to inform you that your retro wage check is being processed at this time in the County and depending on which Bank or Credit Union you utilize, you can expect to see that money in your account as early as Thursday May 30^th, 2024. However, the checks are dated for 5/31/24 and everyone will see it by then.

While this process has been anything but smooth, I personally want to thank the membership for their understanding and support during the last few months.

COBA would also like to thank Sgt. Michael Boniface and Clerk Colleen Mackey (Hanlon) from Human Resources for tirelessly working to ensure the data sent over to the County was accurate and free of critical errors.

Now that retro has been received, COBA can now proceed with its litigation against the County for failure to abide by the parameters set forth in the contract in regards to payment of retroactive wages. As this goes through the process, we will keep you informed of any developments.
