NASSAU COBA APPLAUDS JUDGE'S RULING EXONERATING TWO CO'S OF FALSE CHARGES

September 17, 2014

"The Correction Officers Benevolent Association applauds Judge Quinn's decision to acquit Officer Joseph Donlon and retired Officer John Andujar of these charges. This trial was nothing more than a colossal waste of taxpayers' dollars trying to impugn the careers and reputations of two veteran Correction Officers based on the heresy of a convicted felon.  In light of Judge Quinn's decision, we are now calling for Officer Donlon to be immediately reinstated to his position as a Correction Officer, and for him to be fully reimbursed for all monies and contractual benefits that he lost due to this false allegation." - John Jaronczyk, COBA President
