"Law Enforcement Officers Weekend" Delivers Dinner to Nassau Correction Officers

May 4, 2020

Dear COBA Members:

Big Thank You to Nassau Correction Officer Antonio Cuevas (Transportation) and his buddies NYPD Officer Austin Glickman and NYFD Fireman Kevin Bernstein, all from the organization "Law Enforcement Officers Weekend" for delivering a delicious dinner, enough to feed an entire shift of Nassau County Correction Officers working the front lines during this pandemic.

The food was provided by the St. James Restaurant in Mineola.

Thank You St. James!!

There is nothing better than seeing Law Enforcement and Essential Personnel supporting each other in times for crisis.

During times of crisis, that's when when you see the true humanity of people rise to the top. This is when you support each other. This is when you leave all selfish petty "what about me" thoughts in the trash where they belong.

In times like these you ask, what have I done for my fellow Officer or my neighbor? How can I help his/her family?

Thank you to all those who put others welfare ahead of your own!!

Please see LEO Weekend's Web page below as well as photos of today's delivery.
