Father's Day Car Show A Huge Success!!

June 19, 2022

The 2022 Father’s Day Car Show and Touch a Truck event is in the books!!

This year's event was the best yet with over 575 Classic/Muscle Car entries all to benefit the Nassau COBA Widows and Childrens Fund. Thank you to the Nassau PD, Fire Marshalls, DAs Office Child Safe Program and Sheriffs Dept for the use of all the First Responder Emergency vehicles for the community kids and visitors to explore.

Thank you also to volunteers who came out to help, including Officers Matt Grange and Mark Murale, Monica Lanning, Cpl Rich Nauss's Dad and daughter Kailei.

Thanks to the Suffolk Correction Officers Association who came and made a generous donation.

Big thank you to the members of the Widows and Childrens Board for a lot of hard work, making for a fun day for the thousands (YES THOUSANDS) who came out to enjoy this beautiful day with us!! Officer Jon Donohue spearheads this event every year, and its only gotten bigger and better each time. Great job by all today in a very long day that started very early. Including Vic Millman, Jamie Romaine, Joe Collins, Pat Manganaro, Rich Nauss and Maggio Ventura.

It was a great day for Nassau County Correction Officers out representing, in the community we serve!

Happy Father’s Day everyone!!
