COVID Voluntary Vaccinations Signup Update

January 10, 2021

Dear COBA Members;

The Sheriffs Depts Medical Compliance Unit will be staffed and available again tomorrow, Sunday January 10th from 0830 hours to 1600 hours for ALL Uniformed Correction Staff to call in and notify the Dept of their intention to receive the vaccine.

Additionally;

MCU has also asked the Union to notify our Members that all staff can call the MCU Office during off hours and overnight and leave a message with your intention of whether you wish to take the vaccine or not.

This is being done to ensure that everyone is given ample opportunity to sign in to the program.

Again, further direction will be given next week on setting up the actual appointments to get the vaccine but this list needs to be promulgated as soon as possible to ensure the proper amounts of vaccines can be provided by the State.

The Call In Number for MCU is: 516-572-4107.

When you contact MCU and are asked to leave a message, please leave your name, badge number, say YES/NO for the vaccine and provide the best contact number for you.

Stay Healthy and Safe;

Always In Unity;

Brian Sullivan, COBA President
