Throughout the summer, COBA and the Department's Human Resources team have continued to work together to keep our members informed regarding the processing and payment of overtime compensation.

Human Resources has advised COBA that the upcoming overtime check is expected to include overtime worked between

August 3, 2026, and August 17, 2026, provided those entries were submitted and processed prior to the payroll deadline for this pay period.

As noted in previous updates, these dates represent the most accurate information available regarding Security overtime. Overtime worked in supplemental or outside units may be processed on a different timeline and could appear on a subsequent overtime check.

We encourage all members to carefully review their pay stubs to ensure their compensation is accurate. If you identify any discrepancy between your records and the overtime reflected on your paycheck, please contact me as soon as possible at:

When reporting a potential overtime issue, please provide the following information:

Date(s) worked

Hours worked

Post assignment

Any tour you believe is missing from your overtime payment

The sooner an issue is reported, the sooner we can work to have it reviewed and, if necessary, corrected.

COBA remains committed to keeping our members informed and advocating on their behalf. We will continue to provide overtime updates each pay period to help members monitor their compensation and ensure any discrepancies are addressed promptly.
