COBA President on LI News Radio Re: Nassau Correction Officer Assault And Related Local Crime Issues

Dear COBA Members and Retirees;

COBA President Brian Sullivan was interviewed on Long Island News Radio 103.9FM this morning regarding the vicious assault of our Nassau County Correction Officer by a known Gang Member this past Sunday. The demand for immediate justice for our Officer was discussed along with "Consecutive Sentencing" for those convicted of assaulting Correction Officers vs "Concurrent Sentencing."

Also discussed were various local issues related to the Criminal Justice System in the aftermath of Bail and Discovery Reform leading into next week's all important election.
