Dear COBA Members/Retirees;

Yesterday I was invited onto the "Jay Oliver Morning News Program" on 103.9FM LI News Radio. The issue of course was Bail Reform and Discovery Reforms that are going into effect January 1st. We in the Law Enforcement Community are the only ones getting the word out about how insane these new laws are.

As much as we speak the truth, the public is still oblivious to what these new laws mean. We have to keep up the pressure while also getting Community and Victims' Advocacy Groups informed and involved. The mainstream media refuses to address the actual crimes that are included in these reforms, continuing to only label them as "low level drug crimes, or misdemeanors and non-violent felonies". The fact that the public is being purposely mislead is the real crime here.

Please take a few moments to listen to the radio interview and share it with as many people as possible. We have to expose this massive fraud for what it is and hold those who put this all into place accountable for any future victimization by people who should have been in jail.
