It is with sadness that COBA announces the passing of

Retired Correction Officer Michael J. Navarra. Retired Officer Navarra was appointed to the Sheriff’s Department on January 19, 1996 and retired on March 31, 2021 after serving the department for 25 years.

We ask you to keep the Navarra family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

A Christian Mass will be held in his honor on

Tuesday January 28, 2025, at 12 noon at

St Hedwig's Church located at

1 Depan Ave Floral Park, N.Y. 11001.

A private final disposition will take place following the mass at

All Souls Chapel and Crematorium at 3pm.
