It is with sadness that COBA reports the untimely passing of Retired Correction Officer George Jaronczyk Sr. father of retired Lt. John Jaronczyk and Retired Sgt. George Jaronczyk. Retired Officer George Jaronczyk Sr. was appointed to the Sheriff’s Department in 1965 and retired after completing 25 years of service in 1990. We ask you to keep the Jaronczyk family and friends in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Retired Officer George Jaronczyk Sr will be reposing on Friday September 13, 2024, at the Weigand Brothers Funeral Home located at

49 Hillside Ave, Williston Park N.Y. from 4:00pm-9:00pm.

Mass of a Christian Burial will be held on

Saturday September 14, 2024, at 9:45am at

St Aidan’s Roman Catholic Church located at

505 Willis Ave Williston Park NY 11596.

Interment to follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood located at 111 Old Country Road Westbury NY 11590.
