It’s with deep regret COBA announces the untimely passing of Eugene H VanHaaren. Father of Retired Correction Officer Eugene H VanHaaren Jr, and Corporal. John C VanHaaren. Eugene VanHaaren served in the Air Force and was a member of the VFW post 1033 in Elmont. Please keep the VanHaaren family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.

Eugene H VanHaaren will be reposing on Thursday, June 27, 2024, and Friday, June 28, 2024, at Krauss Funeral Home Inc. located at 1097 Hempstead Turnpike Franklin Square, N.Y. 11010 from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Prayer service will be held on Friday, June 28th, 2024, at 6 pm at Krauss Funeral Home Inc. with a private burial on July 12, 2024, with military honor at Calverton National Cemetery in Riverhead NY.
