Dear COBA Members,

I'm very pleased to announce that the COBA membership has ratified the proposed contract extension agreement!!

​This contract extension was ratified with a

98.9% approval rate.

The raw numbers were ​590 in favor, with ​6 against.

In these difficult economic times, this contract extension will give our members an immediate wage increase and preserves the level of healthcare, which is so valuable to our membership.

I want to thank the COBA membership for their trust in this Union as we continue to fight for the needs of all our members.

Thank you, all COBA Members, for your support during this process.

This ratified agreement will now go before the full Nassau County Legislative Body at their October meeting along with the other three Nassau Law Enforcement Unions agreements.

As this process moves along, your Executive Board will keep you up to date.
