See the link below of News12's coverage of yesterday's Public Safety Committee Hearing on Jail Management at the Legislature in Mineola. Testimony was given from myself, then from several County Dept Heads, including Acting Sheriff LaRocco, Deputy County Executive Tatum Fox, Civil Service Director Martha Krisel and Civil Service Commissioner Carnell Foskey as well as DPW Commissioner Ken Arnold and Budget Director Andy Persich.

COBA's entire Board of Governors were in attendance along with numerous COBA Members who saw first hand the issues we deal with day to day in this Dept. First and foremost the ongoing staffing crisis, the status of infrastructure projects and most importantly now, the return of Mike Sposato as Commissioner who only appears to be concentrated on reducing overtime instead of addressing the myriad of problems that caused these issues in the first place including his management when he was the Sheriff.
